BEFORE DEPARTURE:
Kindly ensure you have all your belongings before leaving!!
Please load all dirty dishes into the dishwasher and start the washing cycle.
Items such as the Electric Grill, Electric Fry Pan, Coffee Maker, or any other non-dishwasher-safe dishes should be hand washed and stored properly.
Laundry Instructions:
On the main floor: Place all used towels, dish towels, and cloths into one of the laundry baskets located in the master closet. Used bedding should be placed in the other laundry basket. Both baskets should then be taken to the mudroom near the laundry closet.
Upstairs: Place all used towels on top of the dryer to avoid them being left on the floor. Used bedding should be placed on top of the washing machine.
Ensure the garage door is closed securely.
Kindly tidy up and put away all games before departing.
Please leave the washing machine door as well as the soap dispenser open before leaving and after each use.
The washing machine on the main floor must be closed due to its location in a closet. However, before departing, please leave the closet door open along with the washing machine door and dispenser. Thank you.
INFORMATION:
Please refrain from leaving wet towels, clothes, swimwear, boots, shoes, etc., on the floor as they can cause damage to the wood floor and carpet. Rubber mats are provided under the bench in the mudroom for all wet items.
Bedding for the pull-out bed in the family room is located in the upstairs closet, along with a crib equipped with a wet pad and a sheet. Additionally, there is a highchair available in the same location.
The laundry soap for the main floor washer can be found in one of the baskets on the wall, all of which contain Downey fabric softener.
KITCHEN:
Avoid placing electric appliances in the dishwasher; they are to be washed by hand.
Please use utensils with a coating when cooking to avoid damaging the coated cooking pans. Coated utensils are provided in the drawer and in the jar on the cabinet.
Do not use the grill on the stove; instead, utilize the electric fry pan or the regular fry pan with the lid.
Ensure all food items prone to grease splatter, such as bacon or hamburgers, are covered while cooking.
Cover all food before placing it in the microwave.
Dispose of all leftover food and peels, such as potatoes, in the garage to maintain the disposal and sink's functionality.
A first aid kit and sewing kit are available in the cabinet above the microwave.
A small vacuum and broom are provided for your convenience. Additionally, there are rags under the kitchen sink for any spills. Please place used rags by the back door in the garage, just outside the door on the right side.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If your laundry is exceptionally wet after the washing cycle is complete, please leave the clothes in the washing machine and run the rinse/spin cycle before transferring them to the dryer.
